Coastal Pilot: The SSF Guidelines Curriculum
Students in El Ñuro, Perú pilot lesson plans from Chapter 7: Value chains, post-harvest and trade and Chapter 8: Gender equality. Educators and learners worked together to create a stop-motion animation that told the story of a fish's journey from ocean to plate. The story notes all the people the fish interacts with before being served as dishes to the young learners themselves.
Coastal Pilot - Stop-Motion Animation
Students in Los Órganos, Perú pilot lesson plans from Chapter 5: Governance of tenure in small-scale fisheries and resource management. Educators and learners worked together to create a stop-motion animation of a local legend that could act as proof of their SSF community's ties to the land and sea across generations.
